Long-Lasting Commercial Construction Solutions

Often the first choice among automotive enthusiasts and business owners seeking spaces to store, service or restore cars and trucks, pre-engineered metal automotive buildings combine unmatched structural integrity with easy customization.

Almost completely customizable in terms of bays, lifts, roof heights, ventilation, insulation and more, steel automotive buildings are also highly sustainable, meaning owners can recycle them completely at the end of their lifespans. They are also inherently adaptable by design, meaning owners can expand their size with relative ease, should the need present itself.

This particular pre-engineered metal automotive building remains in pristine condition, despite undergoing heavy usage for more than two decades, and it has held its own through the years in the face of snow, strong storms and other potential hazards.

Located on the Delaware Bay, the city of Lewes is a part of eastern Sussex County. Part of the Salisbury, Maryland – Delaware Metropolitan Statistical Area, Lewes lies about 7 miles outside Rehoboth Beach and about 3 miles northeast of Belltown.

Building Specifications

Attractive and functional, the metal body shop boasts a White exterior and a complementing Galvalume steel roof with Slate trim and a 1:12 roof pitch. Once raised, it stands an expansive 60’x100’x14’ in size, and it features a wide clear span that frees up more space to store or service vehicles and the high clearance necessary to accommodate car lifts and similar equipment.

Spectacularly maintained in the years since its construction, the building features overhead doors that make it easily accessible for vehicles and (2) commercial walk door systems, one of which leads to the business’s welcome area.

It also boasts several customizations that help prevent moisture-related damage from accruing, among them a 200 linear-foot eave gutter and 120 linear feet of downspouts. A 90-mph wind speed rating serves as another supplemental feature; an inclusion made in adherence to local building code requirements and out of respect for the typical climate characteristics of the Lewes area.
