Sunward Steel Buildings, Inc., manufactured and provided this pre-engineered steel building for a customer located in Midland, Texas, in January of 2015.

Currently, the rugged, low-maintenance metal building functions as an equestrian barn, providing a safe dry space to groom and house horses while protecting them from extreme temperatures and the elements. Equal parts attractive and functional, the steel horse barn is easy to clean and maintain, and it is also easily adaptable, should the need arise to add stalls, storage areas or more space for grooming and related efforts.

Offering ample curb appeal, this prefabricated metal horse barn boasts a striking, Sahara Tan exterior and a complementing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof with Colony Green trim and a 2:12 roof pitch. Comprised of the strongest steel currently available in the American market, the building stands 24’x36’x10’ in size and offers unrivaled strength and durability, giving equestrian enthusiasts peace of mind that their animals will stay safe, secure and protected, regardless of climate conditions.

To help keep rainwater from pooling at the barn’s foundation, the horse barn features a 4” rain gutter across four locations. The metal barn also boasts several customizations added in in compliance with local building codes and in consideration of the region’s typical weather patterns, among them a 4.2-pound snow load and a 90-mph wind speed rating.
