Equestrian Riding Arena and Stables in Freeport, Maine
Sunward Steel designed a pre-engineered equestrian building for KEB Incorporated in Maine in May of 1998.
Sunward delivered the building to serve as a horse stable and arena. Although the property was originally built for and owned by KEB Inc., it was later acquired by L.L. Bean in 2007. The property then served as an Outdoor Discovery School. The facility offered customers opportunities to partake in outdoor recreation activities they might not have tried before. The building was again sold to the current owner Freeport Equestrian Center. The Sunward Steel facility has served a variety of purposes over the years.
Sunward supplied a 75’x185’x16’ pre-engineered structure to KEB Inc. The Goldseal building is white with a misty grey roof. The interior is wrapped with 6’’ insulation for climate control and was built to withstand heavy snow loads. In addition to the metal building, there is a lean-to that accompanies the property.
