Sunward Steel Buildings, Inc., manufactured and provided this prefabricated steel building on behalf of a customer in Hardyston Township, New Jersey, in May of 2001.

Ever since, the building has functioned as the home base of Westy’s Gymnastics, which offers gymnastics training for athletes with a wide range of abilities. In addition to training novice-through-elite gymnasts for competition-circuit success, the metal gymnastics training facility hosts meets, birthday parties and other special events throughout the year, providing a safe, all-season space for gymnasts to perfect their skills and enjoy themselves.

Building Specifications

Standing an expansive 74’x120’x20’ in size, the building features a broad-clear span, allowing plenty of space for gymnastics equipment and a floor exercise, while high ceilings accommodate the high bar, uneven bars and similar tall equipment while leaving plenty of room overhead. Comprised of durable, high-end steel components, the steel gymnastics center offers unrivaled strength and durability, while a Stone Beige exterior and complementing Colony Green roof with a 3:12 pitch and White trim give the business plenty of curb appeal.

The metal gym features (2) 3070 commercial walk door systems with panic hardware, and it also boasts a number of customizations made to help prevent snow or rainwater from pooling atop the building or near its foundation. Such accommodations include a White eave gutter along two sides of the steel gym and 160 linear feet of downspouts spanning six different locations. A 90-mph wind speed rating serves as a supplemental feature; an addition made in accordance with local building code requirements.
