Metal Church Building Details
Rugged, reliable and inherently low maintenance by design, the pre-engineered steel church building boasts a finished size of 105’x146’x24’. It features a hardy, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal roof with a 2:12 pitch overhead, which offers considerable protection against the Mississippi elements, and an open, clear-span design that enhances functionality and versatility.
Additional steel church characteristics include (294) feet of leaf filter gutters on two sides of the building, (350) feet of 3.25’x5.25’ leaf filter downspouts and brick exterior walls, while the building also features several customizations made in adherence to local building code requirements and in consideration of the climate patterns typical of the Corinth area. These include a 90-mph wind speed rating and a 7.7-psf snow load.
Economical, Long-Lasting Houses of Worship
An increasingly popular construction solution among those looking to erect buildings for religious use, prefabricated metal churches combine the strength and functionality of steel buildings with the aesthetic beauty and architectural design of traditional churches. This particular building hosts church services, classes, meetings, banquets, parties and community gatherings most Saturdays and Sundays, serving as an important resource for the surrounding Baptist community. The onsite gym, meanwhile, often hosts sporting events, giving members of the congregation a safe, accommodating year-round place to spend time.
Part of northeastern Mississippi’s Alcorn County, the city of Corinth is known as “Mississippi’s Gateway City.” The community lies about 247 miles outside Jackson, Mississippi, and about 97 miles southeast of Memphis, Tennessee.
