Strength and Curb Appeal in a South Carolina Steel Pet Resort
Sunward Steel Buildings manufactured and supplied this pre-engineered steel building in 2011, and it now serves as Ridgeville, South Carolina’s PAWmetto Pet Inn, a leading provider of pet day care, boarding and spa services. Energy efficient, economical and attractive, the steel building offers considerable curb appeal thanks to a bold red exterior and a complementing green canvas awning.
Standing 40’x60’x10’ in size, the metal pet resort features top-of-the-line steel construction and delivers the energy efficiency such a business demands. Within its roof and walls, it contains four inches of insulation, which helps muffle barking and other noise while allowing pets and employees to stay cool and comfortable, despite South Carolina’s variable climate. A white metal roof with a high 4:12 pitch guards against corrosion and the elements from overhead, expanding the building’s open interior and enhancing its cute, cottage-like appeal.
Additional stylistic elements include a glass storefront and two additional glass lobby windows, which give the pet inn’s welcome area a bright, airy look and feel. The building’s exterior awning also provides shade for a couple of chairs set up outside.
The owners of the pet resort expressed their utmost satisfaction with not only the building, but the buying process, noting Sunward’s professionalism and willingness to help at every turn. From designing and supervising the build to installing the pet resort’s insulation, Sunward streamlined the process from start to finish, seeing that the owners’ vision for their business was brought to life along the way.
Set within southern South Carolina’s Dorchester County, the town of Ridgeville covers less than two square miles. It sits about 35 miles northwest of Charleston and about 11 miles outside Summerville. Considering purchasing a metal building for use in South Carolina? Click here for a price quote.
