Shop and Garage Building in Minnesota
Sunward Steel fabricated and supplied this attractive, energy-efficient metal building in Two Harbors, Minnesota, in August of 2017.
Designed to keep building users comfortable and stand strong in the face of Minnesota’s often-harsh climate, the 40’x80’x16’ building serves as a shop and features a high-performance insulation package, with R-30 insulation in its roof and R-19 insulation in its walls. It also boasts a high, 60-pound snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating to enhance durability given the climate characteristics of the area.
Crafted using premium-quality steel components to maximize strength and durability, the building features a Royal Red and Burnished Slate-colored exterior and a Galvalume metal roof with a 2:12 pitch that guards against corrosion and the elements. Additional characteristics include liner panels and multiple overhangs, which boost the shop building’s overall curb appeal. Also included are (2) 14’x14’ framed openings and (1) 3070 steel walk door.
Situated along the shores of Lake Superior, Two Harbors sits within northeastern Minnesota’s Lake County. The community lies about 27 miles from Duluth and about 176 miles outside St. Paul.
